David began classical piano training at age 5, and by the time he was 15, was asked to turn professional. However, David chose instead to pursue his new hobby filmmaking and would eventually concentrate on that as a career, while still recording the occasional album or soundtrack during the 80's and 90's. In 2009, David began recording his latest album Random Acts of Beauty with the encouragement and participation of Camel's legendary guitarist Andrew Latimer. The album was released in 2010 to nearly universal acclaim. Since then, David has embarked on a series of projects with Moody Blues Frontman Justin Hayward and expects to release a new album soon.
